Parking
There are a lot of parking options near and around the Los Angeles Theatre Center (LATC) 514 S. Spring Street. A good resource to find parking options is here. Please note that parking prices may differ depending on the time you park and other considerations.
Road Closures
A five-month full closure of 6th Street in downtown Los Angeles between Flower and Hope streets will start Saturday, June 3, and remain in effect until November 4. During the closure, work crews will perform roadway removal, utility relocation, and beam installation work required for the Regional Connector Transit Project.
The closure will also shut down the southbound 6th Street off-ramp from the 110 freeway and reduce the northbound 6th Street off-ramp from two lanes to one between Figueroa and Flower streets.
Detours:
- Southbound freeway traffic will detour via 4th Street off-ramp to Grand Avenue and then back to 6th Street.
- Northbound 110 motorists should use the 9th Street off-ramp as an alternative to avoid long delays.
- Eastbound 6th Street thru traffic will detour south on Bixel Street, east on 7th Street, north on Olive Street and then back to 6th Street.
If traveling on the 110 to or from DTLA during the closure, make sure to plan ahead and allow for extra time. Commuters might consider carpool options or alternative routes.
