We’ve been telling you all about this film for awhile and it finally opens TODAY for an Oscar-eligibility run.  Yes, the performances by Costner–who plays the white grandfather of a biracial girl–and Octavia Spencer who plays the girl’s African-American grandmother–are that good!  Make sure you go out and see this film and support stories about the Mixed experience so Hollywood knows we want to see more!–Heidi Durrow
